This privacy policy applies to the Yabanci+ app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Mahsun Abuzeyitoglu (collectively, the "Application"). Mahsun Abuzeyitoglu is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. This policy describes how we collect, store, process, and protect your information when you use the Application.

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

• Device Signatures: Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system version, device model, and unique device identifiers.
• Activity Logs: The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages.
• Location Information: The Application collects precise or approximate geographical location data (GPS, network location, or user-selected city/region) to enable location-based roommate matching and marketplace listings.
• User Generated Content (UGC): Information and media you voluntarily submit, including profile pictures, uploaded room/item photographs, listing titles, descriptions, and comments.
• Profile Information: Your registered email, full name, username, occupation, and languages spoken to establish your user profile.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Application or its third-party SDKs may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, or service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.

Artificial Intelligence and Automated Moderation

The Application utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance user experience, moderate listings, and provide safety features.

Specifically, the AI components process user-generated content (including text and images) to automatically review, moderate, and analyze posts (roommate or marketplace listings) before they are approved and published publicly. This is done to prevent spam, fraudulent activity, hate speech, or inappropriate content. All AI processing is performed securely in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable data protection laws. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the Service Provider at abuzeyitoglumahsun@gmail.com.

You also have the right to request deletion of your account and associated listings directly through the Application's profile settings by selecting "Delete Account" under your Profile Settings.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Third-Party Services

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

International Data Transfers

The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms:

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider retains personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:

• User Provided Data: Retained for the duration of your active account use plus 12 months thereafter, unless longer retention is required by law.
• Automatically Collected Data: Retained for up to 24 months from collection, unless longer retention is required for legal compliance.
• Aggregated and Anonymized Data: Retained indefinitely as it no longer identifies you.
• Data required for legal compliance: Retained as long as required by applicable law.

Data Security & Breach Notification

The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed and maintained. While we strive to ensure absolute security, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including details about the breach and the mitigation steps.
